The Forge @ HVCRC
The Forge is a skill-building and mentoring program for youth at the Hocking Valley Community Residential Center. Through trauma-informed mentoring, hands-on learning and supportive relationships, young people strengthen confidence, resilience, and readiness for the future. 

What It Is

 

 The Forge blends mentoring, life-skills education, and emotional support for young people preparing to return to their schools, families, and communities. Sessions focus on self-awareness, positive decision-making, communication, confidence-building, and career and life planning.

Our team works closely with HVCRC staff to provide consistent, compassionate programming grounded in restorative practice and youth voice.
